About this site

This site is published by Fiber Connect Council MENA, an industry organisation whose purpose is to accelerate fibre adoption across the Middle East and North Africa. It exists to inform: to publish the council's own work, the work of its members, and industry material the council considers relevant.

Permitted use

You may read, print and share the material here for your own information and for non-commercial professional use, provided you do not remove attribution. You may not republish it commercially, present it as your own, use it to train a model, or copy the site's structure and design.

Intellectual property

The articles, studies, newsletters and presentations published here belong to the council or to the members and third parties who supplied them, and are used with permission. The council's name and marks belong to the council. Nothing on this site transfers any right in them to you.

Publications and downloads

Publications offered for download are licensed for your own reading and internal professional use. Some are available to members only; retrieving one requires an account with the necessary membership, and a link to a file is personal to the person it was issued to. You may not redistribute a members-only publication.

Membership applications

An application is not an acceptance. Submitting the application form starts a process; membership begins only when the council confirms it in writing. The council may decline an application.

No payment is taken on this site. Membership fees are invoiced and settled separately, outside the website. Any page that appears to ask you for card details is not ours.

Member accounts

An account is personal to the individual it is issued to. Keep your password to yourself, tell us if you think someone else has it, and do not use an account to retrieve material on behalf of a company that is not a member. We may suspend an account that is used this way.

Third-party content and accuracy

Sections of this site (Media Coverage in particular) reproduce or summarise material written by other people. That material reflects its authors' views, not the council's, and we do not warrant that it is accurate or current. Industry figures and forecasts published here are supplied by their authors and are estimates.

Links to other sites

We link to member websites, to the other fibre councils and to publications hosted elsewhere. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. A link is not an endorsement.

Availability

We try to keep the site available and correct, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw material without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
