Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) is an access layer technology which combines both data signals and electrical power into a single Ethernet cable connection to enable remote powered device operation. As per the Power over Ethernet Market Research Report, the global market for power over ethernet is anticipated to grow rapidly by USD 3.3 billion by 2030. According to the analysts, low maintenance demand along with low cost will drive the market growth throughout the forecast period.
Paul Weintraub, head of international development for Superior Essex, guided the seminar and delivered presentations on PoE technologies and solutions. Kandasamy Ganesan, Managing Director of Topnet Distribution, joined the event to discuss applications of PoE technology, including lighting. These two companies worked together to deliver educational events in 2022 and have agreed to continue those efforts in 2023.
