Fiber Connect Council Mena and North Africa is an industry organization with a mission to accelerate Fiber Connect adoption by all broadband stakeholders through information and promotion, in order to accelerate the availability of fiber-based, ultra-high-speed access networks to consumers and businesses. We promote Fiber Connect because it delivers a flow of new services that enhances the quality of life, contributes to a better environment and boosts competitiveness.

Fiber Connect Council Mena witnessed another successful year during 2017 with several achievements to promote the Fiber Connect deployment in the MENA region thanks to the continuous support of the members of the board and the committees.

Creating a sustainable future is not just about protecting the environment, but it is also about wider benefits to society and its citizens, and the economic health of communities and nations. Fiber to the Home has a positive impact on all three of these areas.
Since its inception in 2011 by its founding members companies from Moseco, Prysmian Group, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco and MEFC more than 50 members and partners joined the council.
