The Prime Minister of Egypt inspects BENYA factory for fiber optic cables in partnership with the Arab Manufacturing Authority.

Mr. Ahmed Mekky, Chairman and CEO of Benya welcomed H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, and other ministers to BENYA fiber optic cable factory, which is built in partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and located inside the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The visit was also attended by Major General Mokhtar Abdel-Latif, the President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Mr. Walid Gamal El-Din, the Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

“I am proud to announce that the first production batch of our factory, which is currently in its trial operation phase, is being directed towards the infrastructure of the presidential initiative "Hayah Karima" project. I commend the Benya team for their exceptional work in building and establishing the factory in record time, utilizing advanced production lines boasting a production capacity of 60 thousand kilometers of fiber optic cables suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Also proud to announce that the indoor cables are the first of its kind to be manufactured in Egypt.” Mr. Mekky commented.

This national project reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of the Egyptian market for fiber optic cables, promoting the digital transformation efforts in Egypt, as well as exporting products that carry the "Made in Egypt" brand.
Mr. Mekky announced that the first production batch of BENYA factory, which is currently in its trial operation phase, is being directed towards the infrastructure of the presidential initiative "Hayah Karima" project.
