About Ooredoo
Founded in Oman in 2004, Ooredoo launched its services in 2005 under the name Nawras before rebranding to Ooredoo in 2014. Between 2009 and 2010, the company expanded its portfolio to include fixed services, broadband, and international gateway operations, establishing itself as a fully integrated telecommunications operator.
Today, Ooredoo serves approximately 3 million customers across the Sultanate of Oman. Its mobile license was renewed for an additional 15 years in 2020.
